The form security session
When the form requests a security session, the server sets a session cookie. The cookie contains a session identifier, not your name, email address, project description, or other completed form fields. The corresponding server session holds information used to validate submissions and recognize certain repeated requests.
The cookie is configured to restrict access from page scripts and to limit its inclusion in certain cross-site requests. When the website is served through an encrypted connection, the cookie is marked for secure transmission. What the banner buttons mean
The banner offers two choices with the following current behavior:
- Accept cookies: saves an acknowledgement and allows the essential storage described in this policy.
- Only necessary: saves your preference to continue with necessary storage only.
Because no optional analytics or advertising cookies are currently implemented, both choices result in the same essential storage functions. The choice does not change the form’s security requirements, authorize unrelated marketing, or grant permission to an independent provider to track you.
If optional technologies are introduced later, their purposes and controls should be explained before they are used where a choice is required. An existing acknowledgement should not be interpreted as unrestricted permission for future tracking.
Reopening and changing your choice
